Boone Tavern HOtel & Restaurant was built in 1909 and named after the Appalachian hero Daniel Boone. Boone Tavern has been hosting visitors ever since and is listed on the National REgister of Historic Places. We will enjoy dinner here our first evening.

Berea, Kentucky
Known as the “Folk Arts and Crafts CApital of Kentucky,” home to Berea College, and a hub for artisans, festivals, and outdoor activities. We will enjoy a morning in Berea with a step on history tour as well as artist demonstrations.

Christmas Memories Show

We will have the opportunity to view the life-size bronze statue of Dolly Parton which is located on the courthouse lawn in Sevierville. We will view Muriel's murals in the town of Sevierville which will allow fans to explore the “Country Queen's” legacy through art and iconic photo opportunities in her beloved Tennessee.

Applewood Farmhouse Grill Restaurant
The Apple Barn Complex is home to two of the most popular restaurants in Sevierville. The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant is the original favorite. Built in the 1920s, the farmhouse was converted to a restaurant and opened in 1986. It specializes in family meals and good country cookin.

Country Tonight Show
A long-running popular live country music and comedy show known for its energetic performances, singing, and comedy. We will be enjoying their seasonal Christmas Show.

Harlan Sanders Cafe & Museum
This original site where Colonel Harland Sanders developed his famous fried chicken recipe in the 1940s, now a working KFC restaurant with a museum showcasing KFC history. This location is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers a mix of nostalgia and modern fast food.

Shakers Village of Pleasant Hill Dinner & Christmas Walk
A dinner of traditional favorites and seasonal Kentucky dishes prepared with straight-from-the-garden ingredients. After dinner we will enjoy a candlelight tour of several historic Shaker Village buildings festively decorated for the holidays. Together we will trace the progression of the Shakers' beliefs and practices gaining a deeper understanding of the history of Christmas in America at this National Historic Landmark!
