Trip Itinerary

Day 1 (nov 4)

We travel from McBain to St Louis, MO where upon our arrival we will visit the Gateway Arch Museum and do an Arch tram tour. Dinner is included tonight at Landry’s Seafood House which is located in Union Station in downtown St. Louis.

DAY 2 (nov 5)

We will have breakfast at the hotel before we make our way to tour St. Louis’s largest and oldest brewery, the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Then we are off to Springfield, MO where we will enjoy the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum. Dinner is included at Hemingway’s Bluewater Cafe located in Bass Pro Shops National Headquarters.

DAY 3 (nov 6)

Today we are visiting iconic locations located along historic Route 66. Our first stop is at the Route 66 Vintage Iron Motorcycle Museum. Next it is on to a former vaudeville theature, the historic Coleman Theatre located in Miami, Oklahoma. We will enjoy a tour and lunch in this beautiful theatre before we make our way to Bartlesville, OK. While in Bartlesville we will spend some time at the Philips Petroleum Company Museum. Phillips 66 is one of America’s largest oil refiners. Dinner is included in Bartlesville this evening.

DAY 4 (nov 7)

We will make our way to Pawhuska, OK after breakfast. Today we will have a Pioneer Woman experience as we spend time at the Mercantile shopping, eating, and exploring the town of Pawhuska. Food Network star, Ree Drummond, films at the lodge, which is located on the family ranch. We will do a lodge tour if tours are available on the day of our visit. Dinner again is included once we return to Bartlesville.

DAY 5 (nov 8)

Following breakfast we will start our journey to Omaha. We will stop in Topeka, Kansas for a lunch on your own and we will tour one of America’s most beautiful capital buildings. Once we arrive in Omaha we will have dinner at Gorat’s. Gorat’s has been an Omaha tradition for more than 70 years in an old school environment.

Day 6 (nov 9)

Today we begin our day in Omaha with a Boys Town Tour. Boys Town is a true American treasure that will leave a lasting impression. Durham Museum, with lunch included, is our next stop. The Durham Museum is located in the former Union Station and offers a fascinating look at history of the region. This afternoon we will tour the Union Pacific Railroad Museum for a look at fascinating railroad memorabilia. This evening we will experience a treat as we enjoy a Frontier Dinner with entertainment at the General Crook House. This house was once owned by General Crook who was a civil war hero.

Day 7 (nov 10)

We leave Omaha this morning and will be stopping in Davenport, IA for lunch on our own before we stop at the John Deere Pavilion. We will learn about the evolution of John Deere as well as experience it first hand. The John Deere Store will be the place to pick up that special something for that John Deere fanatic in your household. Lodging and dinner included in Joliet, IL this evening.

Day 8 (nov 11)

Today we have a short journey home after our trip filled with wonderful memories of America’s midwest.


Prepare for your trip

Trip includes deluxe motorcoach, tour director, all breakfasts, all dinners, and two lunches. Water, snacks, and all gratuities except for the motorcoach driver.


We know that we sometimes have very little say in what happens in life. Our policy is that if you need to cancel for some reason that is outside of your control, we will refund your money in full, minus your $100 deposit. Deposits are non refundable, but are transferrable for any other available trip offering. Balances are due 60 days before trip departure. If you do need to cancel, we would ask that you notify us as soon as possible so we can make necessary arrangements. Deposits received for trips, which may be canceled, due to low interest will be refunded in full.
